Mixed feelings about this. Which is sad because I enjoy Dr Mario normally.
Downloaded it a few nights ago; the download stalled out overnight. Thought that was weird but it was running on my throttled sub-network, so I figured that must be it but no...
Game finally installed, play the first few stages and reach a giftbox icon on the map, 'a 200+ mb update needs to be installed', oh okay.... that's like doubling the size of the Application, but sure...
So does the update install via the playstore? NOPE! It locks up the game and only installs from within the application and if the phone times out into sleep mode the game severs its connection to the server. On the bright side, it does resume the update wherever it left off?
So another long download later and I can play the game and multiplayer has been patched in, it's OKAY not GREAT but okay.
Would I take the time to install it again? No.
Will I play a few rounds when I'm bored? Yeah probably it is a phone game.
