Okay, so after a whirlwind of a day at the Duel arena today with Jon we went from selling our bank to becoming the wealthiest we've ever been. I think a pact is in order to never step foot in the dual arena again. What do you think Jon |

I definitely agree dadajeep - We never want to push our luck like that again. I've sworn to never return to gambling on RuneScape many times over, and lost my bank trying to recover funds each and every time I've went back. Eventually we'd end up broke, one way or another if we didn't(or don't) stop. Take it for what it's worth and move on, and to everyone reading this, staking, gambling, games of chance, none of it is worth it, regardless of how many wins you've seen others make. Whether you have 10m or 10b to stake, you can lose it just as fast, and probably will. |

The RuneScape 3 Duel Arena scammers are trying to be clever and have introduced a new scam in 2019. They're hiding a Runic staff so they can cast Disruption Shield causing you to hit a single '1' during the duel, which gives them a much higher chance of winning the duel. If you're going to duel, please, be careful. Check all three screens(Rules, Equipment, Inventory) extremely well, hover your mouse over their worn equipment and inventory just to be sure, if your pointer hovers over items it will show the examine of the item. Below is an example of just how easy it can be to miss a hidden Runic Staff(or any item) in the inventory. Also, be sure to check their worn equipment for a rune pouch(which is holding runes to cheat with vengeance)! When in doubt, don't duel!

While its great to see the success stories from other clannies with all of the changes that have happened to combat, equipment, abilities, etc etc etc I don't think I can ever get back into staking in the Duel Arena and it's probably a good thing. Although back in the day it was a pretty quick and easy way to make money but those were simpler times.

I have lost two full phat sets and I can honestly say I hate the duel arena and will not be back unless its for fun or nostalgia! Say no to Gambling

In the new duel screen you can see the other persons inventory within the duel screen. There should be an inventory bag you can click and they should have all vials as you do. Save an options preset to load each time click it once and wait for explanation marks to go away then click it again. I have lost and made hundreds of millions here.

I've been doing a ton of clue scrolls in preparation for our Clan Christmas Party and a lot of them so far have had steps in or near the duel arena and the temptation is real! Luckily I have been able to resist, mostly because nobody is there since I never log on to the staking worlds. Since coming back to RS3 I've always told myself that I will never duel in the duel arena, friendly or staked. But the more I go there for clue scrolls the more tempting it is.
